Apple Mail Configuration

Start Mail and open the Preferences window.
Select the Bartol account and then the tab 'Account Information'. Make sure the fields 'Email Address', 'Full Name' and 'User Name' are spelled correctly. In the 'Incoming Mail Server' field put 'bartol.udel.edu'
Click on the button 'Server Settings'.

Make sure the 'Outgoing Mail Server' field contains 'bartol.udel.edu' and that the 'Use Secure Sockets Layers (SSL)' is checked and that your 'User Name' is spelled correctly.
Click OK and select the tab 'Advanced'.

Make sure the 'IMAP Path Prefix' is empty and that the button 'Use SSL' is checked.

Close the Preferences window and save the changes when asked.
Click Inbox to read your mail. You should have a folder named 'spam' that will contain the spam that has been caught by the filters. The messages in this folder are automatically deleted when they become one week old.
