The Background
Statistical analysis of the RA distribution
We studied the RA distribution in 6 degree bins for
20°<zenith<50° and for two energy regions, s30<3 and
s30>3.
We compared unscrambled and scrambled RA to see if the unscrambled RA
shows any unstatistical behavior due to
some systematics.
We calculated a weighting function from the azimuth distribution to
take care of the anisotropy in azimuth, and studied
the weighted RA.
