May Effect seen in FortSmith/Nain (from Roger)

NM Count rate of FortSmith (Left) and Nain (Right) with Upper Atmospheric Temperature

Upper atmospheric temperature at 10, 50, 250 and 500hPa pressure level are plotted.
These are correspond respectively to the heights around at 30km, 20km, 10km and 5km.
*Goosebay upper atmospheric temeratures are plotted, because no balloon observation at Nain.
Balloon observations of upper atmospheric temperature data are taken from
NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC). http://lwf.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/ncdc.html

FortSmith/Nain with Surface Temperature (Left) and Gound Snow Height (Right)

Ground observation of surface temperature and snow height at
FortSmith (60.020N, 111.962W, 204.50m) and Nain (56.55N, 61.683W, 6.70m, hope it's close to the NM location) are taken from
Canada's National Climate and Weather Data Archive. http://www.climate.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca
